Originally published in 2015 while I was affiliated with Bob Plain’s RI Future blog, this discussion with Andy Blunden, a key facilitator and specialist at the vast Marxists Internet Archive website, focuses on the role Hegel in Lenin’s writings. Having now reprinted Lenin’s Philosophical Notebooks, which includes his major writings on the German philosopher, I wanted to share it here…mostly to sell books. (PS This was recorded before I socially transitioned, meaning came out as trans, so Andy responds to my questions using the AMAB “Andrew” ‘dead-name’ but that’s on me because he was told before the interview that was the name to use.)
